Can you talk without your hands

Impossible. I sit in my vehicle everyday working and glance about when not moving .observing people talking and come to the conclusion it is impossible. Your hands have to move .

Some more than others. I find it mildly irritating when it's every word and totally unnecessary movements. Too distracting.

I'm not talking sign language, more the flailing arms and hands.

Ive actually just started using my hands more when I talk. I find I pace myself better and dont just try and garble it all out at once if Im expressing my hands too

Ive found it great. Im not good at talking and being looked at, at the same time so If my hands are moving its a good distraction. Have only just noticed myself doing it. Now if I can get my brain to form decent sentences on the spot, I reckon I will make a great after dinner speaker

I'm sure the bloke I met in the pub yesterday who was holding a pint in his one hand was managing okay. It's perfectly possible to talk without hands. By contrast, my deaf friends can't communicate easily WITHOUT their hands
