Going to list my prefect roast.
Medium rare lightly spiced roast beef (pepper, salt, paprika, garlic)
Homemade Yorkshire puddings
Roast potatoes (cooked in beef fat)
Dark greens or purple sprouting broccoli or both
Caramelised shallots
Roasted garlic
Roasted carrots
Cooked yellow split peas with pepper
Gravy made from beef stock
Drink with dark beer or Guinness. Finish with a large glass of Malbec and a few slices of extra mature crumbling cheddar. |
