There are pretty stringent rules on who can fly particular types of drones now and it can be quite confusing but basically if I’ve got it right , any drone with a camera has to be registered and the operator has to pass a basic operations test.
If you get paid for your work then it’s even more stringent. |

You do not need a drone licence if your drone has a sub 250g flying weight. You can fly over uninvolved people, but not crowds. You can operate commercially or recreationally.
Many more rules regarding distance to crowds or people & buildings - all weight based as well. |
