Well I don’t know why, but I decided to watch the Texas chainsaw massacre on Netflix. What another load of shite.
A chainsaw that when not cutting makes no noise and is silent. A bad guy with superhuman strength that even after being shot with a shotgun point blank carries on moving. I need to stop watching turd like this.
Does anyone have any suggestions for good films?
And what are the stupidest plot holes you have seen in a film?
I mean titanic, that floating bit of wood was big enough for the both of them. |

Karate Kid in the tournament it’s stated no blows to the head, so he wins the bout with a kick to his opponents head
Armageddon, honestly you can’t train an astronaut to drill a hole ?
Watching The Courier tonight on Prime, Benedict Cumberbatch film. Do like a spy film and it looks quite good from the trailer. |

Fans of The Big Bang Theory will know this one…
Raiders of the lost ark: Indiana Jones plays no role in the outcome of the story. ... If he weren't in the movie, the Nazis would still have found the Ark, taken it to the island, opened it up, and all died, just like they did.” |

"John wick
The kimber 1911
He wouldn’t have been able to shoot him
As the kimber 1911 is notorious for feed jaming "
There's actually some amazing attention to detail regarding that; it does jam in one scene so in every subsequent scene that he reloads a Kimber he checks it before firing, but doesn't check any other pistols.
My plot hole, was watching Pacific Rim the other day, they use giant robots to fight the Kaiju but the robots have guns/cannons on them that work very well, so why not put those on the giant wall they're building? |

Not really a plot hole, but why is it that in every horror film, no matter how fast the scantily clad female runs away, the slowly lumbering baddy always catches up with her? |

Because he runs when the camera is not on him of course. I thought that was obvious. |

Fun fact: the majority of people don't actually know what a plot hole is, and tend to just spout out random things that they can't make sense of themselves (despite it actually having an explanation) , or mistake them for a plot contrivance. |

Aks will fire in almost any circumstance, chinese o es are crap mind you but soviet stamped as are indestructible
In Africa there are a shit tonne of knock off aks made with crap metals, most disintegrate, explode when misfire or don't fire at all. That's where thee writer got lazy.
Same goes for ammo.
China have interests in mining in Africa and flooded the market with guns years ago, it's in there interest wars rage as it diverts attention from strip mining |

The 1981 TV movie Goliath Awaits.
Divers exploring a wartime sunken ship find its inhabited by passengers 100 m below the sea.
Amazingly they survived in the sealed ship and landed next to a warm underwater volcano which gives the ship heat. Plus the captain had been on a hydroponics course so could grow veg etc. Plus they had the kit to turn seawater into drinkable water.
Of course all it’s not well with a secret euthanasia program and some passengers holding out in another part of the ship.

I think at a certain point all movies become unbelievable. I used to love rom-coms now I'm like - So they met had one date and fell madly in love? Stfu! Same with any action movie when you see some guy running round killing countless people without getting one single scratch? Stfu! or in sci-fy when they try and spout off some complete nonsense as science. The moon is falling from the sky? Stfu |

"Every film. In fact its worse than plot holes. The dialogue actually makes no sense.
If you listen to it closely, its drivel. Doesn't track and adds nothing. I can't watch films anymore. "
The dialogue in Casablanca is brilliant.

So many movies require you to switch off your brain, otherwise you'd never finish watching them as the majority are totally unrealistic.
Treat it as if your watching a theatre show As its all fake as. |

Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
John Connor was conceived in the first film (1984) and this year is even referred to in the film's opening monologue. The "present day" referenced in the same monologue would be 1991 when JC would be 7 years old...but he's clearly portrayed in the film as being a teenager. |

"Horizon Line" on Netflix is the biggest load of hyper-contrived bovine excrement ever to have film wasted on it.
Climbing out of a small plane to fix stuff in mid air? Has anyone tried to stand up in 90 mph wind? Do not waste a minute of your life watching it. |

47 Metres Down.
At 47 metres, the air in that scuba cylinder would last a calm person 19 minutes. At her rate of panic, I'd reckon less than 5 minutes.
But the film managed to be 90 minutes of utter crapness. |

Air diving bottom time at 47 metres would be less than 10 minutes unless they were going to do stops on the ascent. At 50m they would get nitrogen narcosis. 90m? They must be mad and dead!
Thanks for the warning. |
