Hard to say, but I’m always a sucker for a classy black and white shot, in classic lingerie, stockings, suspenders, basque or corset etc.
And similar for the ladies too .. |

"What is the best pose/setting/outfit you've seen in a boudoir photoshoot?
On fab? Or in general?"
If the answer is different let us know both, might spark someone to recreate on fab |

Black and white and a tripod, or someone to take them is all you need. Hard to get in selfie mode |

I have a very close friend who is a photographer. She offers boudoir shots and kept offering to do some for me. At the time I didn’t have the confidence (or the interest as we were not swinging!) not I’d kill to have them done by her!!
Anyway she would do a pose with a lady sitting on the edge of a bed in lingerie and heels ankles crossed leaning back on her hands behind her, back arched, head back. It has a hint of mid orgasm feel to it but in reality was so simple and innocent.
It just highlighted so many beautiful curves, and added some sexy intrigue. Every women would look sensational in this pose! |

I ‘won’ a boudoir photo shoot. It was a nice experience and I had my hair and makeup done and I took my own underwear but they provided other bits. They took loads of photos and I had to sit and look at them all to choose the one free one. I did buy a couple of others too but an album would have cost £1500 or there abouts. I’ve put some on here, I thought they’d all gone into friends only but I noticed the other day that one is public.

How many photos would you get in an album? Sounds steep enough in price |

I can’t remember but it wasn’t many. They’re more than £100 each print. |

Yes selling the pictures is where they make their money. Anita had a session, the actual photo shoot with hair and makeup cost £29.99. A package with a boxed, leather bound album & USB drive containing all the photos cost about a grand.
The quality is fantastic though, and the photos are stunning. It felt like good value for what we got.

I can't say I have seen many boudoir style pictures on fab ( but I'm sure there are a few - some of mine are taken by professional photographers with the intent of creating a boudoir theme ). If we are talking in general, there is a modeling/photography site ( which I don't think I am allowed to name) I am on, that contains some amazing boudoir photography...

Yeah it seems that the good photographers can get so much out of a person, all in making them feel comfortable I'd say is a big part of it |

My wife 'won' one too...they did and excellent job and it ended up costing us 400 pound. I wonder if it was the same company??? |

In our case it was a man & wife team, plus a makeup/hair lass. The hair & makeup took about an hour, then we were another 2 and a half hours of photo's. Mrs helped with outfit changes and translated hubbies directions so Anita was posed correctly.
I thought they were very good.

Prop up your phone or a tripod (or use an old debit card or similar bent to shape - Google tells all) and either use self timer for pictures or use a video to still app. Expect a 20-1 ratio of good photo to blooper |

Yeah I know. But I'd feel a tad nervous if a guy turned up and wanted to get his kit off for the camera. |

I think a lot of the experience is in the photographer making you feel sexy and helping with poses plus getting the lighting right makes a huge difference. I take timer photos just like you describe but I have to wait until I'm in the right mood and even then might delete them all. Would be much more fun to do with someone else |

I was approached and asked to do an erotic photo shoot with a guys wife before, the set up seemed good and it was classy pics, required me in a 3 piece suit etc… would’ve been good but couldn’t make it work |

As an amateur photographer and member of a local camera club, I would love to try boudoir photography with someone or a couple who would be willing to let us as a group work out what works for them in terms of styling and the like. They would obviously get all copies of the images all I would ask of them is that they credit me on here for their images. Also just to prove that they have all copies of the images they would be more than welcome to go through my various hard drives |

I won a boudoir photoshoot in 2020 and have to say it was an amazing experience, I have very little body confidence but the photographer was brilliant, she was so easy to work with.
I did my own makeup, got my hair done and all the outfits were my own I got about 10 pics free and bought 6 more which cost me 240 euro.
I have promised myself another photoshoot |

I think playing with light & dark a very interesting concept. I think bedroom scenes work well with this idea/reality.
Got me some ideas.... just need to experiment & learn from me flops. Would love to have a crack at it though..... I have really got the photography bug. Need a nifty fifty lens now.
I would love to have a bash at it in a photography sense with a nice lady or couple! Would love to have a bash at green screen stuff too! |

as a photographer ive done a fair few boudoir themed shoots and never charged at all. all shoots are TFP. i get the time of the model and they get free sets of prints. to find someone local, purple port is a good place to start as there are lots of togs looking to TFP. you can check out their references and the standard of their photography |
