Beige - part 12

Jump to: Newest in thread

As expected the first 11 threads were an absolute crowd pleaser so I thought it would be prudent to carry this on...

What's your favourite shade of beige?

There were some interesting points in the last thread about how a slightly darker, wheaty tome really makes skirting pop.

I myself (being a bit of a maverick) prefer a lighter shade as it helps cascading sunlight.

Over to you...

Still magnolia. Leaning towards a more wheaty feel in 2022 tho…

Central

Avoid the shade resembling skin that's overdue extreme exfoliation, if you're stippling to add the blackspot breakout. A more peaceful beige aids wellbeing more

You absolute devil.

I wish I was brave enough to lean into the wheat craze.

I might get a tester light maize and see how I feel before I make the plunge.

"wheaty tome

Catcher in the Rye ?"

Rye. Very bold. Summer 2022 perhaps.

This is all very unnerving - I'll have to consult my colour chart.

Slipper satin beige. Understated, classy. Looks good in natural daylight.

Everything I'm not but wish I was.

The worst shade of beige that makes my eyes wretch is ‘broken arm sling’ and ‘hearing aid’ beige.

My son can only see in shades of beige,

Doctors have diagnosed him with colour-blandness.

I can't help but feel we're really not going to get to the root of this until part 32.

What a journey.

The Town by The Cross

I lost sight of myself recently and favoured taupe with it's seductive pink tone.... then I felt reckless and ashamed and restored tranquility with a wholesome return to greige............

White dog poo seems to be a crowd favourite around here, but I'm worried it won't make my ceilings pop enough.

Barley seems a little to extravagant for me. Don't want to get the neighbours talking.
