"Yeah, the Pubic Triangle as it’s classily known
Burke and hare. Are they still open?
Ah the delights of the east coast.
I prefer Deacon Brodies if I'm honest. "

If you want to go, it's just up from the Grassmarket, beside Bread Street. As I say, it's some years since I was there on a stag do, and there were three together.
Burke and Hare, The Western Bar and another I can't remember. I think it was £5 to get in, but that's bound to have gone up. |

"Not my scene at all, the sleazy places.
But I do love my favourite Edinburgh bars.

I'm a touchy feely guy, so this holds no attraction for me, but it was a stag.
Do you remember the Polish cocktail bar though, just along from here? Served the most fantastic drink with cream, cinnamon and Glayvar. Yum! |

The Grassmarket is pricey and fir tourists. If you're brave, Leith Walk is good, as is the Ox on Broughton Street. Tiles is nice in St. Andrew Square. Best wetherspoons is at the foot of Lothian Road. Club, go to The Shack on Rose Street. |
