I would also refer to an article by Dr Phil Hammond, which I mentioned in a previous thread. Hospitals will not shave pubic hair before operations now because of the risk of infection. The only time I know that they remove the hair is if there is a wound there they need to get a better look at to stitch. There is an increased risk of herpes, particularly from oral where it is passed from someone with a cold sore, when shaved. |
