It is 11.17am GMT
I am still in bed, drinking coffee and eating the remnants of a birthday cake for my 'breakfast'. I have been in it since 7.45pm last night except for my brief incursions into the kitchen, bathroom and the garden for about 10 mins whilst sipping on my first cup of coffee this morning.
I am not ashamed! Such is the life of a bachelor.  |

Thank you my good man. It's a little hard now but I shall persist with it because....well, because it's easier than having to pour out some cereal and sorting out the milk and all that palaver quite honestly.  |

The sun was shining and the quite honestly, I chucked a chunk of this cake out there for the birds. I wanted to see if they'd take a chance on it. If they lived, it was probably still safe for me. |
