Reports of people pretending their dogs are emotional support dogs to get them on planes. Anyone experienced this ?

Yeah our pup is a emotional support dog but also causes emotional damage but I have seriously given thoughts on how to get her registered as a support dog

Unofficially mine are. If certainly feel more comfortable when in a generally awkward situation when I have them with me.

They are neither trained or am I diagnosed to need one. But I certainly know they support me.

Apparently you can a certificate which means they get the same status as guide dogs, hearing dogs and listening dogs .. then they can fly with you in the cabin.. reports saying it's being abused by some passengers..

I think it’s more like my dog needs emotional support from me. He’s intimidated by other dogs and suffers separation anxiety.

I have a deaf friend who has trained one of her dogs to be her support dog - they're utterly devoted to each other. My dogs give me mental health/emotional support everyday

I’m way more relaxed in busy public places with my dog. They’re great ice-breakers too.

How your dog is around you says a lot about a person too. I’d trust a dog’s judgment over my own.
