Celeb, politician, campaiagner etc - who do you have respect for?

Jack Monroe gets my vote. She's single-handedly helped millions of people by pushing Asda into reintroducing their value food range. Extraordinary woman!

I don't give a fuck what he says about people but he cares about animals so that's alright with me.

Dame Helen Mirren for her style

Loads of public figures who carry out "good works"

Profs Alice Roberts and Mary Beard who are so knowledgeable yet accessible.

I think those that do most good in society we either don't know or don't hear about much. Those who give their time to support others in need, who promote and defend hunan rights, who look after/support the disabled, who do a lot of charitable work ... those are the ones I amore but as I said often not necessarily in the public eye.

I was nearly a ruin and he raised funds to restore it. It was owned by the family of Johnny Dumfries the F1 driver. The furniture in it was priceless, Ming, Chippendale etc.

It is, and the grounds are fantastic and very family friendly.

It borders the grounds of Auchinleck House the home of James Boswell, reputed to be the first modern biographer, who was the biographer of Samuel Johnson.

I recently found out that John Major blocked Boris Johnson from joining the Conservative party several times in the early 90s. Add that to standing up to Rupert Murdoch on principle knowing it would doubtless lose him the next general election, but doing so because it was right. Loads of other stuff too, but they top the pile.

Marcus Rashford-obvious reasons

Anna Whitehouse-her work on flexible working laws is amazing

Will & Kate- having met them I admire their dignity, hard work and people skills!

Dolly Parton- could easily be the first female music billionaire but unlike twats like Musk and Branson she uses her wealth to provide free books for children around the world instead of pissing competitions to get to space. A role model!

They've visited my old place of work, a couple of times. The last time I got to sit with a couple of service users (homeless community) and Kate who sat for ages. She had no airs and graces, was chatty and seemed genuinely interested in the experiences and views of others. Will has quite a dry sarcastic wit and I got the feeling he'd love to be humorous but feels he should be reserved. They're either amazing actors or genuine nice people!

I'm not a royalist but I admire their grace and dignity especially in the face scandals and criticism.

Dolly Parton- could easily be the first female music billionaire but unlike twats like Musk and Branson she uses her wealth to provide free books for children around the world instead of pissing competitions to get to space. A role model!

Tell me about meeting Will & Kate!

I'm not a royalist but I admire their grace and dignity especially in the face scandals and criticism."

I've met them both over a number of years in very day to day, informal circumstances. They are both nice, down to earth people. I feel sorry for the shitstorm that will eventually catch up with them.

"Lee Evans- I admire his decision to retire after losing his manager and deciding to focus on family.

Marcus Rashford-obvious reasons

Anna Whitehouse-her work on flexible working laws is amazing

Will & Kate- having met them I admire their dignity, hard work and people skills!

I'm sure you're right and they're genuine, nice people. I'd certainly like to think so.

Stacy Solomon? I’ve had friday night dinner with her a couple of times, she’s super sweet from what I can remember. Not stupid or ditsy at all though, she must channel her energy to put that on

Not really, I just didn't mention him as he is a bit of a non-entity, but not bad.

Wales/ All over UK

Two (well 3) spring to mind off the top of my head.

Sir David Attenborough… obviously, and anyone who DOESN’T I would be deeply suspicious of…

Sir Kenny Dalglish and his wife Marina… For their charity work and the way they comforted those effected in the aftermath of the Hillsborough disaster

Gordon Brown. Underrated PM and unfairly hounded by the press. Also lives five minutes walk from me.

Steady Beryl, no shenanigans going on here. Ladies only for me, as you and Shania know.

Labour Party member for 30 years, and he lives up the hill from me. He has a lovely little family, but was hounded out because he wasn't 'cuddly'

Edward does a lot of work with the Duke of Edinburgh Award and many of the lower key youth charities and such that his late father was also involved with.

I have met him. He seems to be a decent chap who genuinely wants the best for our young people.

Once Lizzie has passed away, that should be the end of the whole rotten establishment. Turn Buckingham Palace into a homeless centre and the Royal parks into public ones.

I remember his wife, read some interviews with her and she impressed me.

That's dismissing all that is good about the Royal Family!

She's called Sarah. Had her kids in the same hospital as ours.

Lenny Henry, Elliot Page and Lewis Hamilton. Off the top of my head.

Lenny Henry more than the others though.

They do a hell of a lot of charity work for female cancers too. There's a unit at Clatterbridge Hospital named after Marina after her selfless and never ending fundraising for them.

They don't call him King Kenny for nothing

I'd rather have a Royal Family (with a few exceptions!) Than reality stars like Love Island trash and Hinch
