How do you handle a full on or tough work day?

Personally i'll take a half hour and go for a walk (weather allowing) and just try to ignore the work phone if I can.

I like full on days, where it seems everything is going to shit. I find at the end of the day I've earned my pay, all the other times I feel a bit like an imposter

Manchester (she/her)

Recuperate after, regular breaks even if it's just to daydream or stare at a wall for 30 seconds

I’ve a punch bag in my workshop

That being there allows management to go home to their families each night

Bath

Turn the work phone off for an hour and just sit with my kids and play Mario party/kart with them.

Been known to cry on the drive home.

Exercise.

Kiss my kids.

Remind myself that there are millions of folk who have it worse than I do.

Shag.

Mute teams chat notifications, especially the sound, mute that too. Put your phone on DND.

Realise you are only one human person and cannot perform miracles.

Talk to your colleagues, or whoever you report to, to ask for guidance in priorities.
