Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
"Just like a shag really, all that effort getting up there and quick jump and its all over
He took A LOT LONGER than some of the men I have met.
pmsl.... Just spat my tea out "
I think I have experienced the record for the briefest 'encounter' - 16 seconds. |

He was freefalling out of control for over 3 minutes. At 120,000+ feet there is no atmosphere to offer resistance to his body falling through it and because of that he couldn't stabilise himself. At 800mph!
Amazing achievement, and you don't get too many people like him to the pound. Well done. |

"Crazy b*****d but fair play to him! "
It's not my idea of fun but I'm glad the history of the human race is peppered with pioneers like Felix who push the limits and we all benefit from it. It wasn't just a SkyDive, he was being analysed medically as he ascended and descended to find out how to help humans exist in space. He's a credit to humanity. |
