We're off to the theatre tonight to see a Burlesque show. We've been to one before and enjoyed it (love the costumes and the tease factor).

Anyone else a fan?

Never been to one. Sounds good. I did like the Ladyboys of Bangkok - but that's not quite the same thing.

I saw a show when I was at Leeds festival once. There was very few women watching. None of my female friends wanted to watch it with me. It was a great show

Burlesque shows are quite often found at mainstream theatres (such as the one we're going to tonight), presented by touring Burlesque companies. As it's an art form and not considered pornographic, you don't have to go to seedy backstreet dives to see it

The last one we went to in Southampton had a predominantly female audience with some dressing up in all their saucy finery to attend. It was great fun

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Went to see one in North London two or three years ago. It was compered by Jo King who has been on the telly teaching striptease and burlesque. Brilliant show it was too! Was held at a place called Volupte.

I loved it when I went. It was in a restaurant so plenty of wine, good food and saucy entertainment.
