What's for breakfast Sun 14 Oct?

Just had a bowl of Ready Brek with double cream and Golden Syrup to keep me warm while I get dressed.

Then I shall attempt to make the fried cheese sandwich as suggested by the Naked Handyman a while back, with a fried egg on top, and I shall add some fried streaky bacon to make it even tastier!

No lunch after such a big breakfast. It will be a steak for dinner later.

What's everyone having or had for breakfast?

You'll end up croaking it on the pot like Elvis one day, shovelling that that lot down you!

No I'm not a breakfast person either Julie so I've not bothered either and seeing as Fia is asleep still, neither has she. Saying that, I might leave her a blob of my 'special yoghurt' on her forehead before I go downstairs

The toasted cheese sandwich was a success!

Not done in olive oil though, I buttered the bread first before frying.

The cheese I used was sliced Cheddar with cracked black pepper, picked up for half the price, and it was delicious on its own.

Probably have a snooze first before taking the dog out for a bike ride and walk.

I must resist but good to hear you tried it. The olive oil does make a difference. Enjoy the rest of your camping

.

Don't have olive oil to hand, as I normally carry butter and corn oil as part of my camping kitchen.

A third type of oil would seem rather excessive.

We gave in and went to Maccy D's for a double sausage and egg McMuffin, hash browns and coffee. I was actually wet, it was absolutely lush! Can't remember the last time I had a McDonald's breakfast.
