I'm slivery blonde now but was red for a while.
Wash it as little as you can. Like warm or slightly cold water when you do wash it.
Specific red toned shampoo...you can get loads from Salon Services. Look for a colour depositing one too which will top up your colour between dying it.
And try to keep hairdryer, straighteners etc to a minimum. |

I've been red before. Wash it in cool water as little as you can get away with. I used normal colour safe shampoo but red depositing conditioner. I tried to keep the shampoo just to the roots so the lengths just had the shampoo rinsed through them. I also refreshed it between hairdresser appointments with temporary dye. The ones that last like 6 washes. My hairdresser said it was fine to do. It just brought the vibrance back and handy to have some in before a special event or night out. |
