I have a very good friend who would love to come to clubs, she uses a wheelchair but can walk with crutches very short distances and do a couple stairs. Can anyone recommend a club we can go to please? I'll be a good friend n check them out first for her lol |

The Club that is usually suggested is Quest. I believe that the owner or owners wife is a wheelchair user. |

Quest is the only one we've been told is fully accessible. I've had to do crutches round the others and more than just one or two steps unfortunately. I personally found it very difficult in clubs because the more I use my crutches, the more pain I'm in and the less I'd want to have fun! Hope you manage to find somewhere suitable for your friend. |

Oh we’ll have to look into that ourselves!! Where about is it?
I know chameleons in darlaston is good, but sadly really not accessible. Those stairs are just steep and a killer. |

Yes I've checked out chams this week n it's not very good for her at all. The steps thay go round the back to the 1st floor are better than the main ones but still too many. |

Whilst I can walk on level floors with a stick, stairs are a bit of a problem for me.
QUEST in Leeds, where I'm a member is superbly easy to access and move around. The owners have built it all on the one ground floor, with disabled people in mind. The wife partner is in a wheelchair herself, and she can even move around the admin areas with ease.
Give it a try, you'll be welcomed, and Staff are really good and approachable. |
