It certainly has its place, like all other attire, but I don't think men care about this sort of thing as much as women do. Well, I don't anyway.
It can be one of a variety of possible appetisers, but it's certainly not the only thing that does it for me in this respect.
However, why does it matter what men think? If it makes you feel super sexy then that surely is enough and will certainly be enough for most men - who are generally keen to get onto the main course. |

I started to buy lingerie a couple of years ago to make me feel more comfortable and sexy. I don't think any of the men I've dated or spent time with were much bothered! In fact the next guy I am hoping to spend time with has made it clear he wants me naked. |

It's interesting, I have been with men that absolutely love it and men that aren't the slightest bit interested and just want to get to the contents. I always feel like if I've made an effort and paid a load of money for it they can at least pretend to admire it for a moment before it comes off. |
