Six Nations Week 2
Jump to: Newest in thread
Scores, no idea, but France to beat Ireland narrowly. Given how both are playing and squads available Scotland should beat Wales, but it's Wales at home so could be an upset. As for the score all I'll say is it probably won't reflect the game eg one side totally dominant, but close score or very tight game with one side scoring at every opportunity so it looks like a walkover. |

Following on from our defeat by Scotland last week a strange feeling of needing to cheer Wales on today
...and then Ireland of course, just purely because their accent is top trumps |

"Both England supporters but will be cheering for Scotland today.
May I refer to my previous statement. "
Nah.
It’s because they have a strong team and feel they deserve it. This team has been built over time and just feel they are really coming through.
Love wales as well don’t get us wrong. But just feel it’s Scotlands time |

Scotland in game 1… and then the championship decider
Sexton is a huge miss for Ireland today…. The french don’t tend to keep their discipline in close games
If the french can keep their cool, they win… if the Irish wind them up… they win! |

As a Welshman I think Scotland will beat us in our backyard (but I’ve money on Scotland taking the tournament).
France V Ireland will be close, but I fancy France to just edge it
England v Italy, head says England, but my betting slip says Italy |

Looking forward to the games
Not sure who will win first game but would like Wales in order to leave us as only team that can do triple crown
My heart goes for Ireland in second match but need to up the performance from last week and depends which French team turn up
Expect England to win but maybe not a walkover score |

Well disappointed with Scotland yesterday, they seemed to be trying to rush the game. Last week they stood off, relied on their defence and picked off England when the chances presented them. This week they tried to force the issue and it failed. Wasn't impressed by Wales either, just ", seemed to be back to "Warren ball", but can't fault them for effort or commitment.
To be honest think that France and Ireland are shoo ins for first and second. It's all about who gets third for the rest. If Wales can beat England it's theirs, if not will be about points differences. |
