Scapegoated by Sadiq more like, just like he has done with others. Disgrace of a man.

She wasn't perfect but then who is? I don't think she deserved to be bullied out by the so called "mayor" though. If she is being forced to step down then he should too.

It would depend on the levels of failure, including persistent inability to resolve an wholly inadequate culture within her organisation that was grossly harmful as well as damaging to public trust and well-being.

She will love a well deserved retirement. Chill, have time for herself and open school fetes. Write a book and make a fortune.

Finally she is away from the uninformed and frequently unjustified criticism of public life and the duplicitous, self serving, politicians.

The Met however will however continue to be institutionally racist and misogynistic. Nothing ever changes.

Mr Optimistic.

Khan shouldn't be in charge of anything.

I wonder if a certain deputy commissioner might get her job? Nothing would surprise me.

"I wonder if a certain deputy commissioner might get her job? Nothing would surprise me."

In fairness though, if she's the best candidate for the job then just because she is in a relationship with Cressida shouldn't be a bar to her getting it.

(I don't know who is the best candidate, but Matt Jukes did a good job as Chief Constable in South Wales before he went to London).

Imagine that! She's been paying into a pension pot for forty odd years (High personal contributions too) and now that she's being forced to go, she's got the audacity to take the money! Whatever next!!!
