Had a bad experience yesterday. Managers not taking it seriously, taking the piss out of staff members (not in their presence)

Pretty bad, plus having nicknames for "slackers" like bad back, achy arm etcc.. .

So mental health is taken poor

Aww that is awful! You shouldn't have to put up with it. Do you have a union? I'd speak to ACAS

Hurry up and get another job...I was bullied in my last job, someone was spreading lies around the company, feeding back to my boss about my whereabouts on my days off....My boss would ring me on my days off and ask where I was because she had heard rumours that I was going for interviews (I wasn't)

Final straw came when I had time off due to my heart condition, when I came back I could hear them discussing me in the garden....I told my boss I wanted to complain formally, she was not having it so I walked....Now have a job where I feel safe, secure valued, still have wobbles of paranoia feelings but my boss is amazing, she is really supportive.

Don't tolerate it

Utter areseholes! Luckily I'm with a company that doesnt do this but I have been with some that have. You should shame them in front of the workforce by calling them out for their bullshit, at least that's what I'd do.

It's pretty bad. Not really concerned about people's welfare at all. Yes I'm looking for alternate work tomorrow. Just not sure about references

In the west.

This is bullying. Bullying doesn't have to be violence or direct verbal abuse.

Speak to ACAS. Re references; depends on the company. Some will ask for references from recent job, some want most recent employment. Just look about and see what's what xx
