I'm genuinely not sure I've ever knowingly felt the caffeine kicking in to know whether it's too much

WFH has seen my caffeine intake increase so I have moved to decaffeinated. So in the morning I have a “pick me up” of a normal coffee and then decaf after that. There are some very food decaf options out there if you like the taste of coffee

I drank coffee for decades averaging two or three a day at least but strong. Late last year over the course of a month I reduced coffee down until stopped completely while working in green tea.

I actually got enough boost off the green tea and really felt my reliance on strong coffees was psychological rather than physiological. I had about 4 days of feeling tired at first but this also went.

Now back on a morning coffee fir its health benefits but drink green tea or two later on

Yes on the dehydration front, one of my old managers, a man in early 60s with big gut, used to literally drink black coffee after black coffee ALL DAY. Never saw him ever drink water

I'm very sensitive to caffeine and started drinking decaffeinated tea.

Then I became obsessed with Cherry Lucozade and I can't sleep because I'm tripping on caffeine every night.

Me either, I can drink coffee before I close my eyes and I sleep well and I've never felt a coffee rush.

For me, I can only drink a max of 3 proper coffees in a day. Usually I only have 1 in the morning.

Gave up caffeine - felt nothing

Gave up sugar - there are no words for the horrific slump

I need that strong, black coffee to kick-start the day but will drink only water for the hours to follow.

In the west.

I think I've had too much caffeine today as I feel a tad jingley just now.

Three double espressos and a bottle of FF Coke, with very little to dilute it. I better crack open a few to counteract the effects of the caffeine.

From the late afternoon early evening onwards, I drink only herbal teas or water....so I can sleep more easily
