How broad is your musical mind, for me the mr, I like everything from 70’s to serious hardcore techno and loads in between the Genre I only don’t like is pop. But I have friends that will only listen to one genre and refuse to listen to anything else ( madness).
So are you a one genre disciple or do you broaden your mind when it’s comes to music. |

We also have a board spectrum all the decades through to the present. Anything from swing indie mainstream pop rock through to some classical. You cannot get stuck in one genre as music would become boring |

When you’re young, you listen to everything. As you get on you drop some genres to dig deeper into others.
I dropped reggae, soul, funk and mowtown to concentrate on blues, jazz, classical and folk.
Come to think of it, music is the opposite of sex, where you start of quite vanilla and broaden your horizons over time. |

My taste in music is very varied, I go from classical piano (because I played it) to Jazz and obviously modern/contemporary music.
But I know someone from here (city jeans) and his music knowledge is outstanding, like I don’t think I know anyone else with such an extended music repertoire knowledge, it amazes me x |

I like everything from some classical to heavy rock and even some Eminem. The only genre I can’t really get into is jazz, but don’t mind it mixed in with something else.
I love music so much, John Miles was right |

I have cringed on occasion when I have heard people congratulating themselves on how broad their taste in music is so I consciously avoid doing that.
I mostly listen to classical music but I also like a lot of jazz and blues, plus the occasional bit of rock and pop. It's broader than some and less broad than others. Luke |

I’ll listen to anything that makes me feel something, I find music and emotions have a strong connection, if it doesn’t make me want to dance, laugh, cry, smile or imagine myself stripping or fucking to it then it’s binned!
I’ve got get that hairs standing up, euphoric feeling from it xx |

Downloaded a bunch of songs yesterday, artists included:
Ed Sheeran
Gordon Lightfoot
ABBA
Adele
Robyn
Texas
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Miley Cyrus
Martin Garrix
Billy Idol
Liam Gallagher
Del Amitri
Rag n Bone man
Sam Fender
To me that’s pretty varied. |

I love all genres - I’ve been to heavy metal concerts through to dance music festivals and booked again for MoS weekend this year.
I’ve seen The Bee Gees through to Beyonce through to The Drifters.
If I listed all the concerts I’ve been to then you’d say it was varied
Anything with a beat and I’m dancing!
