I always attach a face pic with message but it doesn’t matter if I make the message personal, one liner, generic or chat up line… most get ignored. What do other males find gets the best response rate and what do females prefer to see? (Is there any point in putting effort into a long personalised message about their profile if they’re going to reject your face?!) |

What one woman prefers won't be what another woman prefers.
I don't like photos, face pic included in the first message. It feels to me like that's the first step of determine whether I want to meet someone. Personality is more important. (Oh, and we're not meeting guys anyway). |

Good afternoon...
I, Nilly will delete messages if they aren't what we are looking for or the rude, one liners or copy and pasted...I do reply to some, especially if effort and a face picture but often this can end up with continual messages and occasionally I block...hope that helps as to why some do  |

opening message should show an understanding of the other person's profile or a witty reply to a status they have posted and that should be it, unless you receive a reply which invites a reply back

I don’t open one liners, boring and mundane messages. Generic messages that’s have been copy and pasted get deleted. As do the personalised ones where they only message about my photos, it says to me you haven’t read my bio |

Its a road to nowhere if you believe that 'females' respond to anything other than someone they ... Like the look of, find attractive sexually, like talking to, feel safe with, matches their likes and needs....
A letter from God herself wouldn't cut it without the above. |

Honestly this is THE best strategy here for single men. I've lost track of men I've talked to via the forums. They're not cold messages - far more likely to be read. |

The face is what I'm going to be most attracted to, so a face pic, ask if they'd like to continue the convo if they like the look of you... Saves writing an essay. Or just say you think you'd be compatible after reading their bio. |

Could be the content of your profile that lets you down, if I'm undecided, but they've written something similar to what I'm looking for I'll chat and find out more.
Same goes for if I like the look of them, but something in the bio puts me off. |
