There's not so much a divide for us. We like BDSM, we like swinging. We participate in the things we find hot and turn us on. Although our BDSM play tends to be more of a private affair between the two of us. But with the right people can also happily flow the two ingredients into the same cup.
I suppose in terms of the scene we follow it would be the swingers scene. Because in clubs there is more variety and options open to us as our sole enjoyment is far more than BDSM because we do like to swing and hot sexual encounters with others with or without a kink aspect. Plus some of the BDSM scene/clubs (sorry in advance) can seem a little serious, pretentious and surprisingly judgy. |

I do both but generally not together really as they don't tend to cross over well in my experience. There is so much snobbery from both sides of the equation. BDSMers are more private with sex and tend to keep it just between the couple involved where swingers by the nature of the beast, don't, well you can't really swing without involving others can you? |

For some its not for me its a about
A mental connection first then empowering a woman to gain confidence and pride in her sexuality to reach forfillment .
For others sex doesn't come into
We each do what's right for us there

I (Steve) started off on the BDSM scene but switched to mainly the swinging scene because of the attitudes to sex at some BDSM clubs. That was back in the 90s and I still dabble in the BDSM side. I think I just found it a bit too serious, it's supposed to be fun  |

Im not a swinger, But Im not into the extremes of BDSM Dungeons and pain etc. I enjoy being taken out my comfort zone, by a Woman, someone who likes to take charge in the bedroom or a selfish lover, who likes receiving, but not giving. So I dont really fit into either category. too sexual for BDSM not sexual enough for Fab |
