Is about to be updated to make sending unsolicited dick pics a criminal offence that could land an offender with a two-year jail sentence and a place on the sex offenders register.
As virtually all of the unsolicited Friend requests and messages we get from single guys on here include dick pics, can we anticipate a change in the T&C's of Fabswingers? |

It's patriarchal in nature and sexist to all sexes.
When was the last time gay men or lesbian women were protected from unsolicited tit picks or fanny pics?
I've had my fair share and I can tell you, waking up to an unsolicited pic of a woman's bits and her dirty arse hole stretched open isn't my idea of arousing, far from it. |

It’s a good step, but I dunno how it’ll be enforced. But it’s still a good step and I’m sure there’s lots of people out there stupid enough to send those kinda pics with the evidence needed for a conviction |

It's not really as simple as "send dick pic, get nicked". The picture must be intended to cause alarm/distress.
So: air-dropping a dick pic to a woman on the train, but not sending a dick pic on Fabs (broadly). |

I can understand it more on here, it’s on dating sites that I find it annoying and out of order. I can’t imagine anyone from here reporting it though. I know I wouldn’t even though I don’t appreciate them.

And most people have their bits and bobs out in their avatar pics which you don’t even have to open the message to see |

Yep can see my boobies on my avatar. And I don't mind cocks avatars, normally it's a small pic and unassuming. But I think perhaps it's the accumulated effect of a cock picture along with what they want to do, that can make it a bit more intimating?

In Scotland, we have a number of approaches - may be the same in England, I don’t know. We have an offence of Sexual Exposure (s8 of our Sexual Offences Act) but that relates only to “genitals”. We have a common law charge of public indecency which could cover your suggestion Frida but isn’t perhaps all that common.

It’s possibly more nuanced than that but, basically, yes. Neither results in automatic placement on the “register”, various factors are relevant to determine that.

I find a closeup pic of a cock in an avatar intimidating and I can't even say why - it just makes me so uncomfortable.
Fab wouldn't do anything that would require paying more people to update/maintain the site. So they will take the quickest route to (appear to) be legal. |

Although I understand the concerns raised about the changes in law.
