Cheeky beggars dogs the way they look at you when you are having a treat. They are saying you should be sharing that .

I always share with my dog, everything I have, he has (as long as it is dog friendly)

My OH hates it

Nope. The dog and puppy know that when we're eating they have to go and do their own thing or lay in their bed but they're not allowed to sit and beg/stare

This for me too. Mine drools which is gross, so he’s not allowed anywhere near me when I’m eating

My dad insisted on this when I was a child. I thought he was being mean.

Now as an adult there is nothing worse than someone else’s dog looking at you while you eat.

And the owner insists you give the dog a bit of your food. I’m like no no way it’s mine.

Dog learnt it is not getting anything from me so now ignores me when I eat. The owner now says things like wow wish she’d ignore me like that!!

Should have trained it!

Depends what I have, he loves jelly sweets and chocolate (Yeah I know, but one square of a Dairy Milk isn't going to touch the sides of a huge GSD)

He is pretty good though, he will just lie in his bed and watch me

The drooling is completely understandable
