I do love an Olympics.
Seems somewhat lacking to have the events held without the crowds. The crowds make the atmosphere and can help (and sometimes hinder) athletes achieve those all important margins to achieve their medal goals!
Anyone else watching? |

Love the Winter Olympics , currently watching snowboarding.
It will be different without crowds but it's taking place which is huge after the events of the last 2 years. |

"I love the Winter Olympics and always watch however I am boycotting it this year with a heavy heart but I just can't bring myself to watch.
Why?"
We feel that because of China's appalling human rights record with the genocide being committed against their Muslim population and the way people are being treated in Hong Kong since the territory was handed back to them we don't feel comfortable supporting such a regime so are boycotting watching this year's winter Olympics. |

Not to get too heavy on the topic but rather boycott buying Chinese goods … it’s like those texting about us reducing our carbon footprint on our Chinese fabricated smartphone.
When it’s convenient people are committed. |

You did just get heavy though. So just because we can't change the world none of us should do anything by that logic. |

Watched the opening ceremony but yet to see any events. The Winter Olympics aren’t really my favourite as they don’t have that many events I’m interested in, but I enjoy the Ski-ing and the Snowboarding etc.
