Who remembers Jack Hargreaves series "Out of Town" which I believe was renamed "Old Country" ? You can still find on U Tube.

Always loved watching it s a youngster. He always had a draw on his pipe in the opening scenes. In todays PC world, that would not be allowed !

Seeing as I had a crush on Joanna Lumley, it was a good programme.

"Just found out the sequel to Ronnie barkers porridge.

Going straight... Starring a very thin Nicholas Lyndhurst.

On you tube all 6 episodes... "

The first episode with Fletcher and Mr MacKay on the train as great and was a nice nod to the first Porridge episode. The rest was ok, I forgot Nicolas Lyndhurst was in this and Butterflies too when he was a teen.

For me personally to say it hasn't 'aged well' is an understatement to say the least. Can't say I'm a 'snowflake' but I do find it very unsettling that people used to think that was funny.
