As with anything on fab who knows we all have different reasons why we do ir don't do things
I personally only verify people if they ask me to and I don't expect anyone to verify me & I've never asked anyone to verify me either
Whether someone has one or 100 verifications makes no difference to me, I guess the only thing I look for is that they have at least one via meet usually in the last 12 months but because of Covid I wouldn't dismiss someone who hadn't met since 2019

I've experienced the same situation, I have verified at least four by video and not one returned the favour ,literally no idea why even though I was totally respectful as asked  |

Many people also don't show your veri but show everyone else's, you can ask them to veri you but you can't make them, also some are veri collectors as well, best not to think on it tbh your friends will veri you and they are truly who matter  |

People use verifications for different reasons and choosing to show them or not can often be part of a particular strategy.
I've met and been verified by people who displayed my verification for a day and then hid it but continue to show all their previous and subsequent veris.
I've never asked why and it doesn't bother me in the slightest.
On the flip side I know some who proudly display verifications from people they absolutely despise in private because it's all about the optics and perception.
They need to be seen to have met certain individuals while at the same time are stabbing those same unwitting people in the back at every opportunity.
It's a twist on the old "not what you know but who you know" story. |
