I'm trying to buy something on an Australian web site but it's not giving me the delivery option I need, which it is giving somebody using the same site in Australia. I suspect the site knows I'm using a UK IP address, so I want to try it with a VPN.

Can anybody recommend a free VPN I can use in the UK to give the site an Australian IP address?

Hmm, free isn’t usually always better and certainly wouldn’t put card details over them

A lot of the good ones do charge, but they’re a lot more secure.

Most free ones you can’t choose your location it will just give a random us i.p

Mostly the location is locked behind they paywalls but hopefully you find one op

I can't recommend a free one but I can recommend you try looking at a VPN you can use for 1 month and the subscription goes through either apple pay or google pay. This will allow you to cancel the service simply and no card / bank details are passed on. expect to pay around £7

Nord often have a significant discount via Quidco (currently 85%).

Proton then do the free trial so you can choose your location. Alot of the free ones may not give you a choice

Or Use the browser Opera GX which has an easy in built VPN. Cant remember if you can choose your location

That is a good call! I think Safari allows you to block your location by hiding your IP too.

I second this. You have quite a good level of free data per month too.
