Cut or uncut does it matter?

Serious question Seeking advice from those with experience. Men and women!
I may need to have a cirumcision to relieve a small issue (not the cock that’s massive lol) by the way it’s not a hygiene issue either! I’m very clean!!!
Does it mate any difference? From a woman’s perspective is it purely asthetic?
From a man’s point of view does it dull the sensation?
I’m in two minds of going through with it and I started my research here rather than google ?? |

A lot of women don't care. There are women with preferences for either cut and uncut. Most men who have never known being any other way are fine with it but certainly not all.
I personally would hate to lose my foreskin, but then I don't have any problems there. I personally would look at what other options are available (I've heard there are some) before I let anybody take a scalpel to my bits and change my body forever. It would be an absolute last resort for me. |

This is a personal preference and I am in no way trying to offend the other side.
I will only play with someone that is circumcised. It is strictly a personal thing. I do not know how it affects sensitivity for a guy. I’ve never been with someone that had it done as an adult.
It’s also worthy to note that it may be a cultural thing for us as it is more the norm for babies to be circumcised in the states. I understand it is more the norm overseas not to be. |

Yes I’ve been rather attached to mine over the years! Perhaps I’m making a ‘big’ thing out of a small thing. I’d rather not have it done if I’m honest |

Thanks I guess it opens more doors than closes? Some only prefer cut for example? |

Can't really imagine that a lass is going to pull your pants down and turn you down for being one or the other. And if she does she wasn't worth the effort anyway |

That's not how it work at all haha |

As a bi man and uncut, I have a natural leaning towards uncut cocks, but that doesn’t mean I’m averse to cut cocks!
All I would say is that some erect cut cocks pictured on here and FGs sometimes look as though either the surgeon or Rabbi was pissed at the time, or the subject has had a close encounter with a guillotine! |

Getting a circumcision as an adult was the worst decision I have ever made. Loss of sensitivity, aesthetically a train wreck. Should have just put up with the Phimosis |

Right now, I'd be quite happy to have my entire knob chopped off let alone the foreskin
I'm having a reaction to a new diabetes medicine and it's taking it out on my nether regions
Docs say it is quite common with this med, but either way, it's bloody uncomfy |

"I don’t have experience
I’m sure you have lots of experience
Only with one type
Well it’s all about new experiences maybe I’ll get it done and give you a shout
you’re too kind "
I am!! So as someone suggested earlier it won’t make a difference my kindness and the fact I’m hilarious will ditract from it. Plus by then if that changes things I’m doing something wrong |

Can you dangle it in a bucket of ice? |

Mine doesn't 'dangle' anywhere |

I prefer with, for my long term partner. Playmates makes no differance. I just work with what's infront of me. Have to make adjustments for bj's and wanking. If they are cut. However prefer a cut one over one you can't pull back much. - fem.

Cool I’m getting positive vibes from women it doesn’t seem to matter in fact some prefer. So happy days. It’s the loss of sensitivity I may be concerned with now. If there is one |

Personally don't care I've had both.

Absolutely no preference, not something ive ever even asked anyone. Cant even think when my brian even registared " cut/uncut cock" at the time.
Just point out i do know the difference! My ex hub and a fwb were. But if with a new guy its not something that would occur to me to ask before as couldn't care less about the answer as makes no difference to how it feels for me |

The only difficulty I have encountered is that hand jobs are completely different, there's a reason men have to wank with some sort of lotion (common in the US).
As a generalisation, with a foreskin, the penis stays still and the penile skin is moved over it.
With circumcision, the penis has to move as one so the hand has to move up and down the shift, hence the need for some sort of lube.
Sex without a condom is different also. Women say that because of the lack of skin, the penis moves differently in and out of a vagina and can result in soreness.
It's not a simple surgery and the head of your penis will become desensitised and the meatus skin will get tougher.
Read everything you can about the pros and cons, there are forums and groups in their thousands. |

Then I recommend you look for alternatives. I've heard there are steroid creams that can help, and there are ways of stretching it. Do some research online. If there's no time restriction on the operation then don't rush into it and don't do it without being sure. You can't go back once it's done. |

Not knowing what your foreskin problem is I can only guess it’s probably phimosis. There are a few options involving stretching it. Your doctor can prescribe a steroid cream to aid in this. As someone else has mentioned, circumcision is very permanent and you may not be happy with the result. Loss in sensitivity is the biggest issue. Not only do you take longer to reach orgasm but it can affect your enjoyment from oral. Masturbation is a lot different too. Lube is your best friend without a foreskin. |

Sorry that might be yr experience but doesn't nec mean that carries over to other people.
Loss of sensation? That might be yr experience as there's millions of men out there that would claim otherwise.
Lube yr best friend? Again I think that's yr experience. I don't n met plenty of guys in my time that don't either. |

It’s the view of a lot of circumcised men. If it’s not adversely affected you then great but it might to him. I’m just giving him a heads up of what he MIGHT be in for. Blindly telling him it’ll be fine us irresponsible. |

Are u circumcised? There's a view from many circumcised men that they are super sensitive and I've not blindly told him anything. Sensitivity to anything is based on the individual, we're all wired differently . Some uncut guys can't even cum from a bj so if uncut is more sensitive why can't they? I know many cut guys that can. Some guys have sensitive nipples others it does nothing for them at all. Masturbation again depends on the individual....no 2 guys do it the same way. So what if he has to change his style n technique it might even be more enjoyable.
Estimated 37-39% of men globally are circumcised some due to religion and in USA and Australia where it's common practice and also routinely done in many other countries. U don't hear them saying they've lost sensitivity or all use lube. Circumcised guys can also suffer from premature ejaculation and I've met some that are so sensitive they cum quick.....so how can u say to them being cut reduces their sensitivity? That well maybe yr experience but u can't pass it off as being the case for everyone. U might know a handful but that's not the concensus of the 37-39% that are.
Irresponsible is not giving him the full facts and stating both sides not just the ones that fit yr narrative. |

To be fair, in USA and anywhere else that it is done during infancy which is the overwhelming majority of circumcisions, they would not know if they have lost sensitivity or not. They have nothing to compare it to.
The only people that will know if sensitivity is lost are those men that have had it done as adults.
I do agree with you that each individual is different and the loss of sensitivity will vary from person to person. |

I have zero preference.
I've known men with foreskins that wished they didn't, and men without foreskins that wished they did.
Some people will have a preference.
I have no concept of how it affects sensitivity or anything. |
