Both of these would be my picks. They're both 'summer smells' though, and I tried to think of a wintery smell that I like and honestly couldn't! |

Bonfires. The crisp smell of woods in the autumn, when it's cold but not bracing. The smell of rain that's much needed after it's fallen on grass (petrichor). Wild garlic in the woods opposite, love that smell. |

The smell/taste in the air moments before a thunder storm...
Oh and the fresh smell of a woman who has completed her gym session or a run. |

That slightly bitter, woodsy smell of massed bluebells in spring.
The smell of damp sand when the tide is out - not the rotten mud fishy smell, the clean but slightly salty petrichor smell.
Fresh tarmac being laid.
The smoky gunpowder smell of the morning after bonfire night. |

Fresh cut grass and daffodils are my favourite outdoor smells. Salty sea air too. |
