Ok because it immediately made me thought of a meet we had.
At a hotel, and it was still warm enough to sit outside and we had a good hour before our meet was arranged to turn up.
A guy nearby was sitting alone with 2 beers.
He began pacing about a bit and went inside, then back out and then on his phone.
I noticed straight away, and said to M, he is waiting for someone
25 minutes later a young man turned up, looking a bit flustered, and sat with the other guy.
He looked very nervous and the older guy who had been waiting was closing in!
After they had d*unk their beers, the older one said, right shall we...
M and I chuckled to ourselves. |
