It's not my quote Miss F so alas I can't define what the author meant by it
I just thought it was an interesting statement
I can see some validity in it, but can also see that it is flawed
So I was just rolling it round with other peoples ideas.

Some people know who they are but follow fashion to change or control how they are perceived.
It matters in some professions, for example, to be fashionable, (and it could be detrimental in others).
Given that "fashion" dictates what is available in high street shops from season to season, it affects us all to some extent.
This season is all about pencil skirts, which is a bummer for me as my hips are a dress size smaller than my waist and I look awful in them. |
