"Never sit in your handbag
*courtesy of the useless information department*"
the top of the cistern is not for in my book! It's for putting my handbag on cos I don't want to put it on the floor in a public loo! |

"Handbags are manufactured for dancing round & collecting utter crap so that the owners can't find anything that was initially placed in them
"
Very true.
But why would I put one (containing all that vital stuff) on the floor of a public loo? Even ladies have been known to have accidents on the floor (especially under the influence) |

"2. Spray on your squeaky hindges ... Or is it hinges?? Ah well, stops the squeakiness "
You can use pencil for this as well. the graphite acts as a lubricant.
WD40 use? Spray a ring of it around big spiders and they cannot move

I use it a lot at work for when I come across nuts and bolts that haven't been touched in 25 years.
Spray it liberally on offending item, leave for 5 mins to soak in then apply pressure with correct spanner. Spanner
invariably rounds the head off said nut causing bruised knuckles and cries of "oh you evilmuthafuckingshitbagcockarse" then I reach for the angle grinder to teach it a damn good lesson.
So to sum up, WD40 is Satan. |

"wd40 stands for Water Displacement 40th formula and was developed to stop bombs corroding "
and originally sold as 'Rocket' WD40....remember I'd forgotten that untill I found an old can at the back of the garage earlier this year with that on it....and it cost 47p still had a psrice sticker on it.
You can use it to remove the glue left behind from stickers you have peeled off. Lighter fluid will remove the sticker glue too.
Lighter fluid also removes Emulsion paint spilt and dried on carpet...not sure if WD40 will do the same....time for a test.. |

Tried it....
WD40 would not remove 2 month old Emulsion Paint off one of my work T shirts.
Strange the things you remember to said you'd do when you wake up at about 3 in the morning about 3 weeks after you posted it |

Was also used to disperse water / condensation that had formed on aeroplanes and their components when being brought over from the states during the war . |
