"It's already warmed up
To be fair all milk is when you get it straight from the cow... Phrasing! You know what I mean
Bit inconvenient to take your baby to the field though . "
Bring the cow to the house of course! |

I didn't know until recently, I'm sure someone somewhere will have recipes of some form or a step by step.
Not ashamed to say I've used some lotion my friend made and wowzers. |

When I was breastfeeding, my diet wasn’t the best. I think I was still in the eating for two mentality
I remember asking my midwife if breast milk on a crappy diet was still better than the alternative. She said it was.
So even in chocolate milkshake form, it’s still good stuff |

"I lost my baby weight quickly and no going downstairs in the middle of the night to make up bottles. I’m far too lazy for that
Kx "
Same, 100%. I loved that everyone thought I was so virtuous, but truth was I’m a lazy bitch |

It's constantly changing, at different times of day and different stages of baby's life it will have different properties. It also uses information from the outside environment to create the necessary antibodies etc. It really is bloody incredible! |

I remember when my newborns scratched themselves, if their scratch mittens fell off. The scratch would heal and disappear within hours! I never made the connection, but do wonder if the breastfeeding contributed towards this. |

Totally. It also gave me a good excuse to rest as I was breastfeeding. Don’t get me wrong my first born was a milk monster and never off my tits but with my second born it was a breeze. I’m very aware it’s not like that for everyone though and I was very lucky x |

It changes according to your baby's needs. Hot day? Nice and watery! Baby is ill? Creates appropriate antibodies! Night-time? Contains more serotonin to help them sleep! Sorry, couldn't stick with just one, it's incredible stuff

how did I not see this?!
Breastmilk is almost perfectly designed for babies. Breastmilk "changes" throughout the course of a 24 hour day to accommodate just what the baby needs. Breastmilk is full of antibodies. Breastmilk is great for rashes and spots.. I often squirted some on the little ones bums when they were sore. Breastfeeding can lower the risk of some types of cancer for the mother/person nursing. Breastmilk can be shared with other babies, not just your own (I have nursed friends babies before ) |
