"I’m nearly finished a knee blanket I started last May, in crochet. I’ve kinda lost the mojo. Was doing it for an elderly friend who was housebound with COPD, a friend of hers daughter who works in occupational therapy managed to get her a wheelchair so she could be taken out. But she died within 2 weeks of getting it and didn’t get a chance to use it. One day when I finish it, I’ll donate it to a charity for the elderly. " I'd love to be to crochet x

However I have given some as cards over the years, some were framed by the recipients. My now hubby wants to frame some but i simply enjoy doing them I love all types of embroidery, I don't know if you're familiar with doodle stitching but I really enjoy that. I embroider tea towels, towels... anything that doesn't move. I made a beautiful embroidered, padded coat hanger for our daughter's wedding dress. I think it's nice to have the things you've made in use People who throw the things you've made away have no soul and no clue as to the time and bits of yourself invested in the item" Ooooo I'll have a look at doodle stitching
