I barely remember anyone's birthdays, I know my mums, my 2 brothers (one is easy as it's Xmas eve) mine and I've just about got my other half's but still need a second to remember the year.

As for remembering distant relatives or other half's family birthdays, forget it OP, I'm ad likely to know your collar size.

Some things you just remember, others you don't and it's different for everyone.

I remember the first ever advert on Channel 4 when it first launched but it has taken me 2 years to remember my mobile number.

I know our son-in-laws birthday because as far as I'm concerned when it became clear how committed he was to our daughter our daughter he became family

I could probably tell you the months of my husband's family birthdays but not the dates. He doesn't even know them. Last year I reminded him his dad's birthday was in January but he phoned a few days late and had missed his 65th. Oops

He also doesn't remember our kids birthdays

Deffo not. And wouldn't worry about the fact either. You're male, we're not supposed to know. We're rubbish at things like that.

Don't use big words like that, I have to Google what they mean

We do indeed, we have arse scratching, farting and burping to do, they're all important and timely tasks

Nope. I remember mine. He remembers his. But saying that. We do talk. So one of us would mention it anyway, just in general conversation I would think.
