anyone tried it, we have the full sky package but its not cheap, so would this be a cost effective alternative?

Yes the majority of things now available are cheaper than Sky!

depends on your internet deal. If you have unlimited downloads it's fine but if not it would be quite easy to go over your limit and get charged

I have it as well as sky. It's good for things I fancy watching that I've missed but my kids use it more than me.

Our very young kids love it and it's quite good with a lot if the old tv shows they show but all the rest is crap if I'm honest

They do a 1 month free trial so you might as well see fit yourself

I use Netflix a good amount...... all the series and episodes of 24 alone has saved me a good amount of money if I wanted to buy! Doesnt have the new blockbuster type recent releases but I often find a good movie to watch when needed. Just do the free trial and see if you like
