How do you feel about pet names? Do you hate them? Do you love them?
I tend to rename friends, lovers , pets with 584920 different little names and variations . I’m sure I must be annoying as fuck , but hey, that’s just me!
What are your pet names? Do you have any random ones?
Some of mine are: (the most remarkable)
Kitten
Tinker bell
K (as the letter K)
Ohh and

"One of my partners calls me sausage. The other calls me every pet name under the sun . I think he can only get away with it because he's well spoken. "
Well this is awkward... One of the security guards at work calls me sausage (and everyone else) |

I'm a name giver too
I've been given many over the years, including
Midge
Bell
Ding
Loaf (which was shortened from "Loaf of bread head - my old ice hockey coach gave me that one)
Stumpy
Chizzle
But my fave of them all is "little mummehhhh" and that's what my lad calls me when he's taking the piss out of my height |

I don't mind pet names as long as it's someone close to me.
And I also like to name people/pets.
We have a cat called Salem, but most of the time I call him Sam-Sam or Salami...so even my pets have pet names

Me too!
My dog who I lost 2 years back now. Her name was Peggy-Sue.
Or...
Poogie
Madame Beaujoulais
Miss Floofy-face
When my son still lived at home I'd call him "boy child" and her "girl dog"
I still call him boy child even now |

I don't mind being called a pet name. My Mum still calls me darling and sweetie even though I'm 26 and I can't imagine telling her to stop because it's a term of affection and it would worry me more of she stopped saying it.
I'm terrible giving pet names though because I feel it sounds unnatural and forced |
