What do you ladies wear to a coffee meet? I mean when you know it's just going to be a coffee as its all you have time for.

Guys what to you expect a woman to wear ? Is casual okay ?

I'd go on the casual side of smart casual, the same as I'd wear to meet friends for a coffee. Something like smart jeans, heeled boots, and a nice top or blazer if it's a colder day. Or a day dress/skirt.

Casual is fine. Work clothing is fine if the lady is on her way to or from work.

It’s not about being ready for sex, or showing a body off. It’s about making enough of a mental connection that both sides want to follow up with a physical one.

The only things which would put me off would be tatty or dirty clothes - which I’m sure doesn’t apply to any of the ladies posting on this thread!

We just go casual jeans etc , I usually put on a low cut top , mainly because I think my boobs are my best asset and it gives me a bit of confidence.

Had one lady turn up in the short skirt with high heel boots and fishnet stockings , she told us she wasn't wearing any knickers. This was one of the rare occasions we played on first meet , don't know why.

Whatever I happened to have dressed myself in that morning.

I probably wouldn't turn up in what I'm wearing today though, mens work trousers (pockets, heaven), an old chenille jumper and sensible boots is probably not the best impression.

I've met men for a quick social expecting them to be in their workwear, that's fine by me.

The first ever solo coffee meet I had with a guy, Mark’s aunt and uncle walked past and started chatting, then looked at me with disdain and walked off. We covered it with a “job interview” story so now I always dress “smart sexy” incase we need the interview line again

Casual is fine for a coffee meet I think.

Being as your not sure if things will progress to the physical side I think it’s appropriate.

I usually wear a skirt with black tights and either a top with a bit of cleavage on show or a roll neck jumper that shows my curves. Heeled boots. I like to look subtly sexy but not OTT in a coffee shop.

It usually does the trick

Casual smart is fine if it’s a coffee date

However, if it was a suited and booted type guy I might be tempted to rock up in evening dress just for the hell of it

Casual is fine as its a casual meet up. Our only expectation is the other person doesn't turn up in a track suit haha!

Casual is a subjective term. Casual as in something smarter than joggers would be nice. I don't mind as such but joggers belong in a sports environment or at home. I'd say it can be casual but appropriate.

Then again, I'm a man who was asked why I looked so formal when I was at just about my most casual.

It's interesting that a lot of people associate comfort with casual.

I wouldn't feel comfortable in a track suit (I have no problem with people who do for clarity) but I do feel comfortable in a dress with boots or shoes. If clothes fit right they're comfortable.

I don't know, but apparently I wore all the wrong clothes for our first meet in a tea rooms. However it ended well and here we are over four years later and engaged. So I probably wouldn't worry too much. If it's right it's right.
