Added to which they go well with my Harris Treed jacket which is complete with leather elbow patches  |

That's very true. Teachers got away with belting me in a daily basis. But to be fair I did deserve it.

I had a pair of almost hessian like trousers. Pyjama bottoms were necessary underneath.
Wearing them I felt like a convict. |
