Wouldn't be without a few pairs of Cords, Perfect winter wear for a geriactric old bugger like me.

Added to which they go well with my Harris Treed jacket which is complete with leather elbow patches

Horrible things.. remember my mother making me wear the things to school in the 70s..flared blue cords... surely that would be regarded as child cruelty now..

That's very true. Teachers got away with belting me in a daily basis. But to be fair I did deserve it.

I had a pair of almost hessian like trousers. Pyjama bottoms were necessary underneath.

Wearing them I felt like a convict.
