As kids we weren't allowed to have posters on the walls.
Couldn't ruin the wallpaper...my mom would have had a fit!
Did you have any posters on your bedroom wall.
Who were your teenage crushes?
Or like me...wasn't you allowed them? |

I shared a room with my sister and we used to cut pictures out of old calendars for the walls. It was an eclectic mix of cute animals and Hollywood actors. I seem to remember Johnny Depp and Keanu Reeves being up there, but there were loads of others too. I also put up old birthday cards that I liked.
I had fun taking it all down when I got old enough to realise how awful it all looked |

"Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford and Pamela Anderson were the posters I splashed out on.
No bands I notice, Jim "
There's was the cover Blur's Parlife album and a Pulp Fiction poster, I didn't splash out on them. They were free with Select magazine. |

When I was a teenager and we moved. So my Dad allowed me to choose how I wanted my bedroom to be for the first time. I had 3 chocolate brown painted walls and one feature wall that was made of small brightly coloured patchwork patterns.
On my walls I had posters from my 3 fav bands - Cream, Pink Floyd and Hendrix.
It still remains my most favourite room. |

The Brigette Fonda poster for Jackie Brown was my main poster, with some smaller ones of Wendy James and Madonna. I had more 12" picture discs on my wall than posters. |

My bedroom poster was a Lamborghini countach… I did eventually get replaced though…. With a Diablo.
Maybe I was a bit late to the “girls are hotter than cars” party |

I had skid row and David Bowie on my side of the room, my sister had G’n’r and Europe on hers. We were old skool hair metal girls, haha (Bowie was just because…mmm)
When I got with my ex hubby I had a full size poster of Seb on my door, he whinged, so I put it by my bed instead
Weirdly my ex was called David Jones, a bit gutting as wasn’t the David Jones I’d dreamt of marrying , haha x

When I was 16, went to live with my grandparents for a short while, walls were basically covered in bike posters, that I’d get from a bike showroom in the town- ironically by where my ex hubby worked, but didn’t realise. Destiny and all that palaver, haha xx |

My main thing was rave flyers. I used to go to an independent record shop in town every Saturday and listen to records and come home with a bag of flyers.
I also had a huge Pamela Anderson poster. It was the Virgin Cola one which I stole from the side of a bus stop! |

I (Mark) had motorcycles, The Sun Calendar , Aston Villa, Debbie Harry, Raquel Welch, Colonel Wilma Deering (Erin Grey)from Buck Rodgers, Barry Sheene , Kenny Roberts, etc on their racing bikes. I had the Box room, it was covered by pictures including the ceiling. One night I couldn’t sleep and I heard this scratchy noise, put the light on a and there was a huge (no, honestly) spider trying to lift the corner of one. I hit the wall so hard I went through the lath and plaster wall! |
