That you would recommend everyone to at least go once in their lifetime?

Definitely Australia, although I would love to see more of the place.

Here ...

Tokyo, was there a few weeks for work and only managed a little sightseeing at the weekends but what I did manage to see was breathtaking at times ... particularly the cherry blossoms.

It’s difficult as everyone likes different things and the best thing about travelling is often the people you meet.

So I’d agree Australia. Take a 4WD from Cairns to Perth in straight line. See the towns of west QLD and WA, red centre, west McDonnel ranges, palm valley, wave rock, gun barrel highway, travel through deserts and stay in some aboriginal reserves. It takes 3-4 weeks to do properly.

I went to Perth to see family, but where we were was beautiful. And the place is massive.

My families next door neighbours were like a mile walk away.

Lovely!! I didn't get to Perth. Melbourne was amazing though.

Thats a good distance! Well, if you like you own space and privacy. Not so good if you need an egg or a cup of sugar

They love anyone from Britain. Most tourists are from the USA and tend not to say "Please" or "Thank You".

At the bars they tend to thrust their glass at the bartender and just say "Beer".

We don't. Plus we tip in Dollars. The US folk tend to tip in Peso's which has less worth
