Whilst the rest of Scotland celebrate Burns Night, across in Shetland it's the fire festival of Up Helly Aa celebrating the islands Viking heritage and the end of the Yule season.
So to all you Scots, whether today you've been eating Haggis and having a wee dram or drinking mead and setting fire to a long ship (in spirit this year hopefully for real again in 2023)...Sláinte Mhath. |

Last Tuesday in January 2023.
And yeah it's planned 12 months in advance. |
