A few months ago our little boy (3) stood on the cats tail on purpose.
Husband said to him "Don't do that - how would you like it if someone stood on your tail?"
Son Said "I haven't got a tail"
Husband said "Course you have - all little boys have tail"
Son (Looking for tail) "I haven't"
Husband "Well you can't see it can you - its behind you"
Son "Where is your tail then daddy"
Husband "It falls of when you grow up - everyone knows that"
Result : One completely distraught child and one Husband that felt awful and spent two hours calming him down!
So we don't talk about tails in our house anymore! |
