Tired… my daughter might be having covid for a second time. So not much sleep!
On a first of 2 days off thankfully, so wishing I had an automatic coffee maker and that I gad programmed it the night before! |

I'm in bed and was hoping for a lie in, but my son is downstairs opening and closing various doors and bashing about in the kitchen, so I'm going to be getting up once I've had a quick browse of the forums. |

Good luck. Remember, you are interviewing them as much as they are interviewing you. |

Love that notion. Makes me laugh every time I see it ........ People who believe they are interviewing the employer don't need the job |

I’ve turned down job offers after interviews as I didn’t get a good ‘feel’ during the recruitment process, but yeah I didn’t *need* the job. Would be different if I did I guess. |

"Just reconciling a client return to raw data - colleagues couldn’t get it to reconcile. Tbh took me 45 mins but sorted the issues lol
Geek yes "
On the thought of reconciling. Bank reconciliation is probably one of my favourite things. So relaxing. Now there's software to do all of that |

Need being the operative. It's okay to be 'cool' at my age my 'needs' are so far removed from previous me's needs. |

I abhor the very idea that anything fruit based should come under the label of tea! |

We have software to prep vat returns but the raw data was so fucked - new data points that they hadn’t told us about it took me time to work ou |

That one is on my to do list, as recommended by Fab ladies on a thread last year.

Oh VAT returns, some are fun to do, some not so much. I have a list a mile long but I also have tax and account deadlines that are a priority |

Working from home, taking a fab break. I'm actually dealing with a letter of complaint - writing a proper detailed response, while my husband tells me I should just write 'get fucked' as the reply. Not sure that'd go down too well with my manager, but it is tempting |

I finished writing my reply to that complaint and managed to not include the phrase 'get fucked' anywhere in it
On lunch now. Before lunch I was reading up on regulations for my next bit of work and found some 1954 case law mentioned that was something or other Vs the Midlands home for incurables. The name tickles me, but I can see why they now use the word hospice |

After much deliberation I've waited until now to eat. I have a cheese and pickle sandwich x 2 (standard) and some Strawberries.
I blame you for the obsession with these sandwiches atm OP.
I even turned down sex lastnight for a sandwich on the sofa instead |
