Have just finished making a Banana & Walnut cake, had 1 banana spare whick I have duly eaten.
Way back in 1945 some american soldiers were billeted near where I lived, much to the delight of all us kids we had sweets and chocolate galore, one day we were given some bananas, never seen them before let alone eaten one, once I had found a way into them and what to eat and what the throw away I became hooked on them and 76 years on am still hooked. |
