Nipples only recently but not too hard 
I tandem fed for 4 years and noone has been allowed near my nipples since the kids stopped nursing almost a year ago. |

I think there's such a choice you've got to find ones to suit you. But worth it to introduce a little sizzle. I think boobs look great with them on! And men's nipples as well. |

the little silver ones on a chain hurt like heck because they squeeze and bite too much
they are too small for me
prefer the clear plastic cup style pulling ones with the turning screws on the ends instead...
much nicer, as long as "stop" means "stop" or it gets too sore
mind you having said that, when they come off it feels amazing and looks good to see them all pink and perky!!!
The purple bell shaped ones on a T shape tubes with a sqeezey bulb to pump up, and little bullet type vibrators under each cup didn't work so well,
couldn't get a good seal around the edge so they fell off too often lol
the little vibrating bullets come in handy when you pop them inside the plastic cup ones described above

As MrNotts said I think - doesn't have to be about pain. And different clamps give different sensations. Clover clamps are very bitey. Wide adjustable clamps are more pressure. |

I have 3 pairs, two of the same because “lost” the first ones then found them, and a different set which don’t stay on me…. Welcome to them if you want them, they are like mini vices, probably more suited to larger nipples |

start off with normal clothes pegs...use the ones that you find on those round circles or squares you fit socks on to dry,,, they are not too strong,, |

I tried pegs before clamps and I left them on way to long. I almost cried when I took them off. Such an intense pain, I thought it would never stop.
I then went to clamps and eased in much more slowly |

I have a condition called Lichen Sclerosis it scars the genitals but also atrophied the vag too although that’s a bit better now I’m using vagifem |

Nipple clamps should not be put on nipples. The correct place is behind the nipple, just pull the nipple out to stretch the skin a bit and attach. Years ago I began with pegs then clover clamps with a chain behind my neck. Think the longest time they were on was around an hour and a half. |
